IRIS and RDA version 8.11.6.2 has been released
SIGMET announces the release of IRIS/RDA version 8.11.6.2 software.
This is the first fully tested release since 8.11.1. Within the
past 6 months we have been merging IRIS to work under the standard Red Hat 5
operating environment. Therefore several changes have taken place in the
operating environment. When upgrading please pay particular attention to
the ‘important upgrade notes’ section for steps needed to install each version.
Additional highlights of this release include:
- IRIS Color scales can display up to 256 colors,
with changes to color setup to support it.
- The IRIS QLW User Cursor now displays the binary
data value instead of the color scale value.
- Irisnet can display up
to 100 sites, increased from 29.
- Software installation manual and sigconfig script changed to support RHEL5.
- Up to 50 sites may be set in the IRIS menubar
- Also several small bug repairs
